ORIGINAL SOOZ NOTE CARDS:
The Window Series

Sooz has printed her Window Series note cards as a way to celebrate special events and holidays. As a child, her family would visit the city to look at the festive decorations in store windows and each store tried to out-display the next. People would stroll down boulevards to see the brightly lit windows and thrill at the festive displays. Each card is printed showing a watercolor painting that has a special meaning to her. She hopes they will to you also and that you will share the beauty and thoughtfulness of each scene with someone special.

A hand written note is almost a lost art so why not keep it alive with sending something special to those who really matter.

"St. Patrick's Day" is a watercolor painted in celebration of the traditional Irish festive day. Accented in green clovers (for good luck) the window shows the many decorationsd wears associated with this day.

This "Christmas Window" is adorned with an angel, wreath, stocking, Santa, star and other delights for all ages. This card shows a small shop in Santa Fe New Mexico. Christmas visitors have not yet arrived and the street was dark and quiet except for this window.

"Easter Window" has been created from the imagination of Sooz. Traditional Easter ornaments adorn this European style chateau window in a small French village. Spring tulips greet passerbys with their bright colors.

"Mom's Day" window celebrates the little things that makes mom happy, like flowers, shoes, hats and more flowers. A colorful rustic window that has a rugged warmth made special with memories of those things all mom. Based on a watercolor scene painted by Sooz.

"Valentine Window" exists in no place else but in your heart. Green shutters, the color of growth, surround the warm light from inside as the hearts brightly display their intricate designs, expressing the vast arrays of saying I Love You to your valentine.

"Cass' Window" was painted to surprise an old college friend, who owns an Arabian ranch in Northern California and frequently sends pictures of her new "babies". These horses are prize winning and truly beautiful. Using a picture of her stable Sooz painted a few of her many horses into a framed window collage.
