USDA-Forest Service Logos
We have prepared logos for many different groups in the Forest Service family over the years. As a rule, each one is unique and designed for the specific project. Consequently, that makes it very difficult to have a "one size fits all" approach on our web site especially when selecting the logo and how it is applied.
Logos can be made by embroidery (machine sewing), heat applied vinyl (computer designs cut with a plotter), or with an inkjet printed heat applied transfer. Each method has unique properties to produce a logo however, fabric texture, colors, design complexity and other considerations must be taken into account when deciding which to use.
Embroidery provides the greatest flexibility with fabric type and color choices are almost unlimited. Vinyl is available in a wide array of colors including reflective but is labor intensive since each design is hand picked to remove trimmed pieces and works best with fairly simple designs having up to three colors on smooth fabric. Heat applied Transfers can be printed on light colored items only since the print is translucent and the garment color would influence the print colors but has a precise reproduction of artwork.
If your logo is not show please feel free to contact us. Sooz has the ability to prepare artwork that will meet your expectation and is always happy to work with our friends.
